Three Mount Union Players Named to AP Little All-America Team
Mount Union
senior safety Nick Driskill (Wabash, Ind./Southwood), senior wide
receiver Jasper Collins (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) and sophomore
quarterback Kevin Burke (Westlake/St. Edward) were named to the AP
Little All-America team.
Driskill led
the Purple Raider defense with 101 tackles, 14.5 tackles
for loss and three forced fumbles with two interceptions and two
blocked kicks and has been selected first team.
Collins was
named third team and tallied 92 catches for 1,694 yards with 22
touchdowns this season. In the playoffs, he had 43 catches
for 795 yards with 11 touchdowns.
Burke
completed 69.4-percent of his passes (249-of-359) for 3,772 yards
with 38 touchdowns He was also the team's second leading
rusher with 776 yards on 138 carries with nine touchdowns and was
chosen third team.
