Three Earn All-American Honors at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA
-- Baldwin-Wallace junior diver Julie Pinter
(Broadview Hts./ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) and Ohio Northern
sophomore Jordan Breitigam (Wayne/Bowling Green) and senior Michael
Schultz (New Berlin, Wis./Martin Luther) earned All-American honors
at the 2012 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships
at the Indiana University Natatorium, March 21-24. The top eight
finishers earn All-American honors and finishers 9-16 earning
Honorable Mention All-American honors.
Pinter earned her fifth All-American honor
when she finished as the national runner-up in the 1 meter event
with 448.75 points on Thursday. On Saturday, Pinter followed
up with a fourth place finish in the 3-meter event with 463.65
points to become a six-time All-American.
Breitigam earned Honorable Mention
All-America honors in the 200-yard butterfly with a 14th
place finish (1:51.21). Breitigam also finished 46th in the 200
I.M. in 2:00.47 on Wednesday and finished tied for 31st in the 100
fly in :50.58 on Thursday.
Schultz earned Honorable Mention
All-American honors with a 16th place finish with a time of
16:02.49 in the 1650-yard free on the final day of competition.
Schultz finished 24th in the 500 free in 4:35.58 on Thursday and
was 31st in the 200 free in 1:42.29 on Friday.
