NAPERVILLE, Ill.--Six earn All-American honors by placing in the top eight at the Women’s NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, March 8-9 in Naperville, Illinois.

Mount Union senior Mary Mahoney (Ashtabula/St. John & Paul) won the national title in 400 meters with an NCAA Division III record time of 55.21. This is Mahoney's second national title; winning the 200 meter title at the 2012 outdoor national championships. She is now an eight time All-American.

Mahoney also ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 meter relay along with senior Daryn Herman (Fairview Park/Fairview), junior Emily Mazzaferri (Canton/GlenOak) and Courtney Reese(Cleveland/Cornerstone Christian) that finished in third place with a time of 3:51.42.

Marietta freshman Alex Allen (Charleston,W. Va./Capital) placed fourth in the  60-meter dash crossing the line in 7.70

Ohio Northern senior Alison Steinbrunner (New Carlisle/Tecumseh)competed in the 5,000-meter run, but was unable to finish the race.

Ohio Norther junior Vicki Moga (Stow/ Stow-Monroe Falls) finished tied for 10th place in the high jump. Moga cleared her first two heights on her first attempt, but was unable to clear the bar when moved to 1.65 meters.
