Three Named to Capital One Baseball Academic All-America Team
 
Toughey batted .411 this season with a
school single season record 66 runs scored, four homeruns and 20
stolen bases in 22 attempts. A two-time All-OAC selection, Toughey
finished his career as the Yellow Jackets’ all-time leader
with 153 runs to go along with a .356 batting average, 65 RBI and
54 stolen bases. Toughey earned Academic All-OAC honors twice and
was recently tabbed to the D3Baseball.com All-Mideast Region First
Team. 
Marietta senior infielder Evan Brockmeier
(Marietta, OH) has been named to the second team for the second
consecutive time. Brockmeier is a petroleum Engineering major with
a 3.80 GPA. 
Marietta senior outfielder Jordan Grillliot
(Brookville,OH) has been selected to the third. Grilliot is a
chemistry major with a 3.78 GPA.
