Dan Kleckner Named Coordinator of Football Officials

OH--Danny Kleckner has been selected as the new
coordinator of OAC football officials. Kleckner began
officiating varsity football in 1971 in Selma, Alabama. He
returned to Ohio in 1974 and has worked OHSAA Football for 39
years, including 54 playoff games - two as the referee in state
championship games. Kleckner officiated the 2001 Ohio-Penn
Big 33 Classic and in 2011 Herbstreit Classic. He was the
Referee for five Massillon-McKinley games.
Kleckner started as collegiate
official in 1986 as a linesman in the OAC and North Coast
Conference. He moved to the referee position in 1995,
receiving eight postseason assignments, including the 2001 NAIA
National Semifinal. He’s worked OHSAA Basketball for 39
years and OHSAA Softball for 37 years, including three state
championships.
