Men's Soccer Tournament: ONU wins tournament title in Pks
First Round -Tuesday, November 3
- John Carroll (12-4-1) is under the direction of 10th-year head coach Hector Marinaro. JCU wrapped up the regular-season with a 5-0 shutout against Muskingum on Saturday. The Blue Streaks are led by sophomore Jesse Marinaro who leads the team and ranks third in the OAC with 27 points and 10 goals. Leading the team in assists is senior Kevin Pachuta with eight. In goal this season is Liam McIntosh who ranks second in the Conference with a 0.95 goals against averge and .814 save percent.
- Mount Union (9-7-1 overall) is led by first-year head coach Carter Poe. The Purple Raiders are led by sophomore Johny Akindipe, sophomore Aaron Liezert and Jesse Tinney who have all contributed three goals. Senior Mitchell Tiah leads the team in assists with three. In goal, junior Dylan Lias currently ranks second in the OAC in saves (92), shutouts (5) and third with a 1.20 goals against average.

- Heidelberg (6-8-5) is under the direction of first-year coach Ryan Carruth and will look to repeat as OAC Tournament champions. The Berg wrapped up the regular-season with a 0-0 2OT tie with Wilmington on Saturday. Heidelberg is led by senior Chris Koclak who leads the team with nine goals. In goal will be junior Alex Archambeau with a 1.21 goals against avergage, .710 save percent and three shutouts in 670 minuts of play.
- Marietta is led by third-year head coach Joe Bergin. The Pioneers are looking to rebound after a 6-0 loss to Ohio Nothern on Saturday. Leadind the way will be senior Taylor Reasoner, who ranked second in the OAC with 15 goals and 33 points. In net, has been sophomore Tyler Sholl with a 1.61 goals against average and .757 save percent in 1513:55 minutes of play.

Second Round -Thursday, November 5
No. 4 Heidelberg at No. 1 Ohio Northern (8-1-0) - ONU 2, HEID 0
- Ohio Northern (17-2-3) is led by 18th-year head coach Brent Ridenour. The Polar Bears defeated Marietta 6-0 to conclude the regular season and win the OAC Regular Season title. ONU will be making its 10th appearance in the OAC Tournament and is led by junior Matt Kinkopf with a team-high and OAC leading 41 points and 16 goals. Junior David Janusz is second on the team with 21 points and eight goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Dean McNeil currently leads the OAC with a .780 GAA and save percentage of .819.

No. 3 John Carroll at No. 2 Capital (7-1-1) -JCU 3, CAP 2
- Capital (9-8-1) is under the direction of fourth-year head coach Alan Yost. The Crusaders are coming off a 1-0 win over Baldwin Wallace to wrap up the regular-season. Leading the for Capital has been sophomore Calvin Saunders with a team-high 14 points and six goals and freshman Chewy Gordon with four goals and four assists. In net, sophomore Justin Niswonger tallied a 37 saves and three shutouts and has a .712 save percent.

*The host school is responsible for submitting admission fees to the OAC office after subtracting officials' fees.
FINANCIAL REPORT
The host school is responsible for paying game officials, clock/scoreboard operator, announcer and one ticket seller. Please see the Soccer Tournament Financial Report for allowable expenditures. You may take any or all of these expenses from gate receipts. Please complete the form after your home game and return with a check (if income exceeds expenses).
HOST SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Producing a four-page program (8 ½ x 11 quality stock) which includes team rosters, brief season review, tournament bracket, etc.
2. Statistics of the match.
3. Providing three high-quality soccer balls comparable to NCAA balls.
4. Organizing a Games Committee to oversee the event. The committee should consist of a representative from each school plus one official
OFFICIALS
The referee in each tournament match will receive $175 and the two assistant referees will receive $135. Host schools will receive via arbiter the names of the officials from our assignor. If you don't get this information, please contact the OAC office immediately. The host school is responsible for paying the officials (you may use gate income). If you cannot cut checks in time to pay on site, please get the addresses from the officials and mail them after the game.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Regarding yellow cards, any student-athlete picking up a fifth card in your last regular-season match must sit out this upcoming match. If a fifth yellow card is accumulated during the OAC tournament, suspension occurs after the eighth violation. Any player who was ejected in the last regular-season game must sit out at least one playoff match (two if ejected for fighting).
OVERTIME
Please note that in the event of a tie at the end of regulation, there shall be (up to) two 10-minute sudden-victory overtime periods. If there is still a tie at the end of the overtimes, the score will be officially recorded as such, and we shall then employ the penalty kick tiebreaker outlined in the NCAA rules in order to determine a winner.
WEATHER/DAYLIGHT OR UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
Regarding weather or daylight, once the match has started, there will be a declared winner. If the match is cancelled before the 70th minute, the higher seed automatically wins/advances. If the match goes beyond the 70th minute, whoever is ahead will win/advance (or the higher seed if it is tied). If the game cannot be started within 24 hours, for any reason, the higher seed shall be declared the winner and shall advance.
