Thirteen will represent the OAC at NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championships

MECHANICSBURG, Pa-Thirteen indivduals will represent the OAC at the 2015 NCAA Division III National Championships on March 13-14 at Giant Center in Hershey, Pa. The top three finishers in each weight class at the the NCAA Mideast Regional held on Sunday at Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, Pa. qualified.

Mount Union finished second with 109.0 points, followed by Heidelberg in third with 79.5 points, John Carroll in fifth with 78.0 points, Baldwin Wallace in sixth with 70.5 points, Ohio Northern in eighth with 58.5 points and Muskingum 17th place with 5.5 points.

Highlightings from the day include John Carroll's 149-pound junior Dan Mirman (Wadsworth/Medina) who defended his regional title from a year ago, and will be making his third trip to the national tournament.

Ohio Northern senior Cody Lovejoy (Lima/Allen East) defended his heavy weight title  and will be competing on the national stage for the third time.
