John Carroll's Katlyn Spahar Selected As Honorable Mention WBCA Division III All-America

John Carroll sophomore Katlyn Spahar (Willowick/Lake Catholic) was recognized on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III All-America Team as an honorable mention.
Spahar, who was named the co-recipient of the Helen Ludwig OAC Player of the Year honors in 2014-15. She is only the second player in John Carroll program history to earn the honor, joining older sister Missy who earned the honor in 2013-14.
Spahar, a four-time OAC Player of the Week selection, finished the season as the conference leader with 19.6 points per game. She recorded 11 20-plus point games over the course of the season, including a career-best 36 at Carnegie Mellon back on November 22. She also posted three double-doubles on the year, all of which occurred in conference play.
