Baldwin Wallace senior Melanie Winters (Stow/ Stow-Munroe Falls) and junior Erin Kasper (Amherst/ Marion Steele) have been selected as 2016 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Division III Track & Field Academic All-Americans.
Winters, a first-team selection carried a 3.45 grade point average in English and creative writing. Winters helped BW win the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National title and two more this spring (100-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash) when she led the Yellow Jackets to a runner-up finish at the national meet. She also is one of 11 finalists for the 2016 Division III Honda Athlete of the Year.
Kasper, a third-team selection, was an NCAA Division III All-American indoors this winter in the high jump and carries a perfect 4.0 grade point average in exercise science.
