Seventeen qualify for the NCAA Div. III Championship-BW's Ginnetti named Central Regional MVP
RESULTS
Crawfordsville, Ind.-Seventeen qualified for the NCAA Div. III National Championship with a top-three finish in their weight class at the Central Regional Tournament hosted by Wabash College, February 22-23. The top-eight finishers earned All-Region honors.
Baldwin Wallace took second in the 19-team field with 146.5 points, ten points behind Wabash with 156.5. Mount Union place third with 144 points, followed by John Carroll in fifth with 90.5 points, Heidelberg in sixth with 69.5, Otterbein in eighth with 64.5 points, Ohio Northern in 11th place with 51.5 points and Muskingum in 12th place with 44.5.
BW was led by junior Dante Ginnetti, who won 125-pound title and was named the Most Valuable Wrestler.
The NCAA Div. III Championship will be hosted by Ferrum College (Va.) at The Berglund Center, March 8-9.
