Otterbein's Brian Booher Repeats as Men's Golf Coach of the Year
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – For the second consecutive year, Otterbein's Brian Booher has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year.
Booher has led the Otterbein men's golf program for 10 seasons and has guided the Cardinals to seven of the last eight OAC Championships. The Cardinals have won 24 OAC titles over the last 32 years.
Booher is now a seven-time OAC Coach of the Year on the men's side (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023, 2024), and has earned the honor three times in the last four seaons. He has helped guide four of the past six OAC individual champions in Kurt Fortman (2018), Sam Marty (2019), Coury Rogers (2021) and Ian Johnston (2024).
This season, Otterbein won the OAC Men's golf title by one shot over second place John Carroll. The Cardinals then advanced to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships in Las Vegas and finished 35th nationally.
