WESTERVILLE, Ohio - John Carroll has been tabbed as the favorites in preseason voting by the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse coaches.

John Carroll tallied 77 points (six first-place votes) followed closely by Baldwin Wallace with 76 points (four first-place votes). Ohio Northern is projected to finish third, receiving 62 points in the poll, while Capital and Otterbein round out the top-five with 60 and 49 points, respectively.

The Blue Streaks are led by ninth-year Head Coach Joe Rautenstrauch. The Blue Streaks finished the 2024 season 11-5 overall, 8-1 in the OAC, won its eighth-consecutive OAC Tournament title as the No. 1 seed and advanced to the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Tournament. They will look to continue their success this season as top returners include 2024 OAC Freshman of the Year Braden Zarek and All-OAC selections Camden Uchic and Hayden Mumbach.

John Carroll opens the season at home on Sunday, February 16 against Colorado College.
