Ohio Northern Predicted to Win 2025 OAC Men's Tennis Title

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Ohio Northern has been tabbed as the favorites in preseason voting by the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis coaches.

Ohio Northern tallied 16 points (four first-place votes) followed closely by Otterbein with 12 points (one first-place vote). John Carroll received 10 points in the poll, while Baldwin Wallace received 8 points and Mount Union received 4 points.

Ohio Northern will look to continue their success this spring. Last season, the Polar Bears won its third-consecutive Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title, earning the top seed in the conference tournament. Ohio Northern then went on to clinched its third-straight OAC Tournament title to earn a berth in the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament. The Polar Bears finished the 2024 season 19-6 overall and 6-0 in the OAC.

The Polar Bears will be led by third-year head coach Sean Swisher. Ohio Northern's next match is Friday, February 14 at home vs. Kalamazoo (Mich.).
