WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Mount Union was picked to hoist the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference men’s cross country title by the leagues’ head coaches.
The Purple Raiders garnered six of the nine first place votes, collecting 62 points to top the preseason poll. Otterbein picked up two first place votes and 55 points to be slated second while Ohio Northern earned 49 points to sit in third. Baldwin Wallace scooped up the final first place vote and 47 points to be picked fourth wth Wilmington rounding out the top five with 31 points. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
Mount Union turned in a second place finish at the OAC Championships last season in Findlay, Ohio, securing 62 points with three top-ten finishers. At the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships, the Purple Raiders finished in eighth place with 259 points. They open their season at the Panther Open, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh, on Friday, August 29th.
