Women's Cross Country 
Kate Thormeier
Otterbein University
Class: Freshman
Hometown: Bryan, Ohio | High School: Bryan
Thormeier placed seventh in the Div. III race at the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge with a time of 22:54.5, helping the Cardinal to a fourth-place finish. 

Men's Cross Country 
Payne Ratliff
Otterbein University
Class: Senior
Hometown: Marion, Ohio | High School : Harding
Ratliff placed second overall in the Div. III race with a season-best time of 25:11.3 at All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge. The Cardinal finished first among Div. III schools. This is his second OAC Athlete of the Week honor this season.


Volleyball 
Offense | Sophia Simon
Heidelberg University
Class: Sophomore 
Hometown: Lakewood, Ohio | High School: Lutheran West
Simon led the Berg last week with a .400 hitting percent and 3.22 kills per set. She set a program record (25-point rally scoring era) with 29 kills in a win at John Carroll.

Defense | Logan McQuillin
Wilmington College 
Class: Junior 
Hometown: Defiance, Ohio| High School: Tinora 
McQuillin anchored the Quaker defense with a total of 71 digs across five matches. She tallied 24 digs against Hanover, 11 in a win over Kuyper College and added seven service aces throughout the week.
 
 
Women’s Soccer
Offense | Rae Ehrbar
Otterbein University
Class: Senior
Hometown: Chesterland, Ohio | High School: West Geauga
Ehrbar scored four goals, leading the Cardinals to a 2-0 record last week. Ehrbar scored in the 36th minute before converting a penalty kick late in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Oberlin. On Saturday, she scored twice to lift Otterbein to a 2-1 win over Franciscan.

Hometown: Gahanna, Ohio | High School: Lincoln
Marcum helped anchored the back line leading the Comets to two shutout last week. Marcum assited on the game winning goal vs OWU midweek before she netted the game winner herself in a 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Kenyon on Sunday. 

Men’s Soccer

Hometown: Grove City, Ohio | High School: Grove City
Isaac helped the Cardinals to a 1-0-1 record last week. He scored a goal and assisted on another goal in a 3-3 draw against No. 1 Denison on Wednesday. He also posted an assist in a 2-1 victory over Trine on Saturday.  

Defense | Carson Zurmehly
Ohio Northern University
Class: Freshman
Hometown: Batavia, Ohio | McNicholas
Zurmehly recorded seven saves over two games last week. He had four saves in a 1-1 draw at Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday and three saves in a 1-1 draw with Rose-Hulman (Ind.) on Saturday. This marks Zurmehly’s third athlete of the week honor this season.

Gurney delivered one of the finest performances of his career, completing 32 of 39 passes for an impressive 411 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Fighting Muskies to a 56-49 win over Wilmington.

Hometown: Orange City, Fla.| High School: University 
Thomas led the Muskies’ defense with seven tackles, sack, and a forced fumble in a 56-49 win over Wilmington. 

Special Teams | Aaron Ortega
Muskingum University
Position: K
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: El Paso, Texas| Pebble Hills
Ortega tied the school record for extra point attempts made in a game, going 8-for-8, averaged 35.7 yards per punt, and recorded nine kickoffs for 552 yards, averaging 61.3 yards per kickoff to help the Muskies to a 56-49 win over Wilmington.
