Smith led the Comets in the 5K race at Wright State’s Mike Baumer Invitational with a time of 15:33.20. His time placed him 47th overall in the field of runners mainly consisting of D1 and D2 competitors. The time also marked a new Capital cross country 5K school record, beating the old record that had stood since 2017.

Tarr led the Comets women in the 5K race at Wright State’s Mike Baumer Invitational with a time of 19:26.5 which placed her 45th overall in the field consisting primarily D1 and D2 runners. Her time set her 8th all-time in the cross country 5K in Capital history. The race was the first career collegiate race for the freshman.

Fellers led the Pioneers to a 2-1 record last week, with wins over Muhlenberg and Ithaca and lost to No. 1 Juniata. Over 10 sets, Fellers averaged 3.7 kills and 2.9 digs, while posting a .341 attack percentage (nine errors, 82 total attacks).

Dohanyos led the Berg to a 3-0 record in a quad match against Case Western, Westminster and Olivet. She led the team with 73 digs and 75 serve receptions over 12 sets.

Asta claimed his second straight medalist honor as the Yellow Jackets won their first tournament of the fall season by capturing its very own BW Fall-Tri Match.  He was first of 29 players with an even round of 72.  In his first three rounds of the season, Asta shot 72, 71 and 72.

Meyer's strong start to the season continued over the weekend at the Shenandoah Invitational. In a field of 13 teams, the sophomore placed fifth overall with a two-day score of 74-79 – 153. Her score of 74 on Saturday ties her collegiate-best round, with both other 74s coming at the Muskingum Invitational last March. Through two tournaments (four rounds) this fall, Meyer is averaging a 76.5.

Morton led the Muskies to a 1-1 record last week, including a 1-0 win over Hiram. She tallied 15 shots and two goals.

Across two games, Storck made 10 total saves, while allowing only one goal. Storck helped the Quakers shut out Spalding University in a 2-0 victory. Despite losing 1-0 to Centre College Storck faced 23 shots.

Zurmehly recorded eight saves over two games last week to secure his second Athlete of the Week honor this season. He had six saves in a 2-1 win over Hope (Mich.) on Friday and two saves in a 0-0 draw with Albion (Mich.) on Saturday.

Domeo scored three goals last week, including the game-winner in the 89th minute at Anderson. Against Berea, he scored a goal and assisted on another to help the Quakers finish the week with a 2-0 record.

Poorman led the Berg in a 65-27 win over Hiram. He went 13-for-23 for 177 yards and two scores and rushed the ball nine times for 41 yards and three touchdowns.

Nemeth led the Quackers’ defense with nine tackles (seven solo, two assists) and one interception in a 59-35 win over The College of Wooster at home Saturday night.
