Football

Offense: Duke Corley, Otterbein
Quarterback | Sophomore

Corley was 7-of-11 for 180 passing yards while accounting for four touchdowns in a 36-35 win over Manchester. He threw two touchdown passes and added two more with his legs. He capped his day with a successful 2-point conversion with 1:17 on the clock.

Defense: Donovan Delph, Otterbein
Cornerback | Freshman

Delph was a difference-maker in the Cardinals' 36-35 victory over Manchester, intercepting two passes and blocking a field goal. He picked off a pass deep in Otterbein territory in the first half, then blocked a 28-yard field goal attempt that would have given the Spartans a 10-point lead with 1:48 remaining. He sealed the win by intercepting a second pass on Manchester's final drive. Delph finished with three solo tackles, two interceptions, a pass breakup and a blocked kick.

Special Teams: Owen Warrick, Baldwin Wallace
Kicker | Sophomore

Warrick accounted for 11 points in BW's 41-26 victory over No. 21 Heidelberg, connecting on both of his field-goal attempts and all five of his extra-point attempts. He made field goals from 34 and 28 yards to help the Yellow Jackets secure the win.

Volleyball

Offense: Mya Leach, Muskingum
Outside Hitter | Junior

Leach led the Muskie offense to a perfect 2-0 week, recording 29 kills, 15 digs and 30.5 total points. She opened the week with 18 kills, 10 digs and 19 points in Muskingum's 3-1 victory over John Carroll. She finished with 11 kills, five digs and 11.5 points in a dominant 3-0 win over Wittenberg.

Defense: Katharine Clayton, Muskingum
DS/Libero | Senior

Clayton led the Muskie defense throughout the undefeated week, recording 41 digs, 29 receptions and six service aces. Against John Carroll, she had 29 digs, 16 receptions and three service aces. In the final match of the week against Wittenberg, she added 12 digs, 13 receptions and three service aces.

Men's Soccer

Offense: Colin Gottron, Ohio Northern
Midfield | Senior

Gottron was a standout for ONU this week, scoring both goals in the Polar Bears' 2-0 win over Marietta in the OAC opener on Saturday. Earlier in the week, he added a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Trine on Wednesday.

Defense: Frank Washburn, Mount Union
Midfield | Senior

Washburn anchored a Purple Raider defense that allowed just nine shots, only five of them on goal, as Mount Union went 2-0 on the week. He also contributed on offense, scoring a goal in Wednesday night's 5-0 win over La Roche and assisting on the opening goal of Saturday's 2-0 victory over Otterbein.

Women's Soccer

Offense: Payton Childers, Capital
Forward | Junior

Childers was a spark for the Comets across two games, scoring twice against BW and dishing out an assist in that contest, plus another assist against OWU. She put five shots on the week, three of them on goal against BW, and played 102 minutes in all.

Defense: Lauren Hinshaw, Capital
Goalkeeper | Senior

Hinshaw helped keep the Comets afloat, allowing just one goal across the two games. Against OWU on Tuesday, she collected three saves on 15 shots. On Saturday, she recorded a career-high seven saves against 15 shots from the Yellow Jackets.

Cross Country

Kensi Black, Ohio Northern
Junior

Black led the Polar Bears to a third-place finish out of 12 teams at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational on Friday evening. She paced the squad with a career-best time of 22:14, placing second among 134 runners. It is the second time in the past three weeks that she has earned the honor.

Jacob Wireman, Ohio Northern
Sophomore

Wireman paced ONU at the Ohio Wesleyan XC Invite, finishing second among 206 runners over the 8,000-meter course in a career-best 25:30. His performance helped the Polar Bears win the 14-team field with 31 points, ahead of OAC rivals Otterbein (73) and Heidelberg (95). It is the second time in the past three weeks that Wireman has earned the honor.
