OAC Student-Athletes Earn All-America Honors at NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships
 
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio Athletic Conference was strongly represented on the national stage at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships as ten student-athletes earned All-America honors, highlighted by a national championship performance from Ohio Northern University’s Avery Baker-Schlendering.

Baker-Schlendering captured the NCAA Division III national title in the women’s high jump, earning First Team All-America honors while breaking a Ohio Northern University school record in the process.

On the men’s side, Richmond Honkpo of Otterbein University and Charles Boothby of Ohio Northern University earned First Team All-America honors with seventh-place finishes in the long jump and javelin, respectively.

Second Team All-America honors on the men’s side went to Kaedan Faggs of Baldwin Wallace University, who placed 14th in the long jump, Amari Waddy of Baldwin Wallace with a 16th-place finish in the high jump, and Brady Burrey of University of Mount Union, who finished ninth in the javelin.

The women’s side also featured several standout performances. Claire Schweller of Ohio Northern earned Second Team All-America honors with an eighth-place finish in the pole vault, while teammate Katelyn Wagner placed ninth in the shot put. Baldwin Wallace’s Jameire Honzu earned Second Team All-America recognition after placing 12th in the 100-meter hurdles, and Mount Union’s Mackenzie Davis placed 13th in the long jump.

The performances continue to showcase the depth and strength of the OAC on the national level, as student-athletes from across the conference delivered outstanding results against the top competition in Division III.
