Baldwin Wallace's Brit Kostura Earns CSC First Team Academic All-America Honors
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior pitcher Brit Kostura has been named a 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III First Team Academic All-American, recognizing his outstanding achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
Kostura becomes one of the nation's top student-athletes to earn the prestigious honor after excelling as both an elite performer for the Yellow Jackets and a standout student. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic accomplishments and is considered one of the highest honors in collegiate athletics.
A senior left-handed pitcher from Tequesta, Florida, Kostura helped lead Baldwin Wallace to one of the most successful seasons in program history, including an appearance in the NCAA Division III Baseball World Series. During the 2026 season, he earned multiple national accolades, including D3baseball.com Fourth Team All-America honors and ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-America recognition. He was also selected First Team All-OAC and named the Ohio Athletic Conference Scholar Athlete of the Month in May.
Kostura's selection marks the second consecutive year he has earned CSC Academic All-America recognition after receiving Third Team honors in 2025. Last season, he carried a 3.972 grade point average while majoring in Sustainability and Finance and was recognized as one of the top scholar-athletes in NCAA Division III baseball.
Kostura was one of just 11 student-athletes selected to the NCAA Division III First Team Academic All-America squad, highlighting his excellence in the classroom and his impact on the diamond throughout his collegiate career.
The Academic All-America program, selected by College Sports Communicators, honors the nation's premier student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement while competing at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.
