John Carroll Abdul-Aal Named To CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team

John Carroll senior men's tennis player Jad Abdul-Aal (Warren, Ohio)  has been voted onto the 2016-17 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Men's At-Large First Team.  First team honoree advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot.

Abdul-Aal is a double major in Finance and Economics and has earned a 3.873 grade point average. He was named the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year for the third time and was selected All-OAC First Team.  

Abdul-Aal was a 2017 OAC Clyde Lamb award winner.  Criteria for the award includes at least two year's participation in an OAC-sponsored sport, senior status, a minimum grade point average of 3.00 and sportsmanlike conduct in a manner that has brought credit to the student-athlete and his/her institution.
