Four Earn All-American Honors; BW’s Zastrow Named NWCA Assistant Coach of the Year at NCAA Div. III Wrestling Championship


Cleveland, Ohio-Four earned All-American honors at NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by Baldwin Wallace and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.  BW Assistant Coach Jason Zastrow was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Assistant Coach of the Year.

The top eight finishers in each weight class earn All-American honors.

Mount Union senior Nick Mancini (Boardman) placed fifth at 125 pounds, followed by BW senior Chris Doyle in eighth place.

BW junior Anthony Arroyo earned his second straight All-American honor with a third place finish at 165.

Mount Union junior Jairod James claimed the 174-pound title with a 4-1 win over Jon Goetz of Wisconsin-Platteville to claim the Purple Raiders second-ever individual wrestling title
