Ohio Northern, under the direction of tenth-year Head Coach Nat Laurent, has been picked by the league coaches to win the Ohio Athletic Conference men’s lacrosse title in 2026.
Ohio Northern received sixth of 9 first place votes to collect 62 points. Baldwin Wallace received three first place votes, with 59 points. Otterbein lands in the third spot with 47 points, followed by Mount Union with 45 points. Head coaches do not vote for their own teams in the balloting.
The Polar Bears finished the 2025 season with a 16-5 overall record and were second in the OAC with a 8-1 mark in conference play. They won the OAC Tournament championship for the first time in program history and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship.
The Polar Bears will open the season with a 2 p.m. start Saturday, Feb. 14th at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA.
