Ellis was named MVP of the Transylvania Don Lane Classic after leading Marietta to a pair of wins over Transylvania and Albion last week. Ellis averaged 19.5 points, 1. 5 rebounds and two assists-per-game and shot 12-of-22 (.545) from the field, including 8-of-14 from three-point range (.571).
Copley, Ohio/Akron Archbishop Hoban
Marshall scored a team-high 11 points, grabbed five rebounds, one assist and one steal to help the Yellow Jackets to a 58-46 victory over Trine (Ind.) University.
Lewis helped BW to a 111-68 victory over Buffalo State University with two first place finishes. Lewis won the 100-yard breaststroke and the 100-yard individual medley in times of 1:04.31 and 56.00 seconds, respectively.
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Cuyahoga Falls
Nockengost won the 100-yard freestyle (58.86) and tied in the 100-yard individual (1:06.22) to help lead the Yellow Jackets past Buffalo State University. Nockengost was also the final leg on the winning 200-medley relay (2:00.48).
LaGrange, Ill./Lyons Township
Kural captured the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.19) and tied in the 100-yard individual medley in a time (1:06.22) to help the Yellow Jackets to a victory over Buffalo State University.
