2026 Women’s Basketball All-OAC and Special Awards

Coach-of-the-Year: Cheri Harrer, Baldwin Wallace
Baldwin Wallace 35th-year head coach Cheri Harrer has been selected as the OAC Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. Harrer led the Yellow Jackets to the OAC Regular-Season with an undefeated record of 16-0.
Helen Ludwig Player-of-the-Year: Samaree Perkins, Capital
Capital senior forward Samaree Perkins (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Obama Academy of Baccalaureate Studies) is the recipient of the Helen Ludwig Player of the Year award. She is the second consecutive Comet to secure this honor.
Perkins finished the regular season averaging 19.19 points, 12.06 rebounds and 1.75 assists against OAC competition.
The Helen Ludwig Award is named in honor of Helen Ludwig, who was an administrator of women's sports at Ohio Northern from 1963-94 and was first presented in 1989.
Defensive Player of-the Year: Alyssa Miller, Baldwin Wallace
Baldwin Wallace senior forward Alyssa Miller (New Philadelphia, Ohio / New Philadelphiae) is the recipient of the OAC Defensive Player-of-the-Year Award. Miller finished the regular season averaging 4.9 rebounds per game and tallied 13 steals and 25 blocks against OAC opponents.
Freshman-of-the Year: Cameron Sparks, Otterbein
Otterbein center Cameron Sparks (Columbus, Ohio / Bishop Watterson) is the recipient of the OAC Freshman-of-the-Year Award. Sparks finished the regular season averaging 9.25 points, 7.38 rebounds and 1.0 assist, while collecting 13 steals and seven blocks against OAC opponents.
