Men’s Golf All-OAC Teams and Special Awards 2026
Golfers of the Year
Ian Morgan, Otterbein & Brian Myers, Mount Union
Otterbein senior Ian Morgan and Mount Union junior Brian Meyers have been voted the OAC Men’s Golfers of the Year by the league coaches.
Morgan finished among the top 20 at the OAC Championship with a score of 224 (73, 78, 73), while the Cardinals tied for first place. Over 20 rounds this season, he averaged a score of 73 and took home two tournament titles, while placing in the top seven in several others.
Meyers tied for sixth place at the OAC Championship with a score of 219 (75-75-69), helping the Purple Raiders to the conference title. Over 20 rounds this season, he averaged a score of 73.1 while taking home four tournament titles and four top three finished.
Freshman of the Year | Zach Butcher, Ohio Northern
Ohio Northern freshman
Zach Butcher was selected as the OAC Men’s Golf Freshman of the Year by league coaches. Butcher tied for third place at the OAC championship with a score of 218 (75, 70, 73) and landed on the All-Tournament Team. Over 18 rounds this season, he averaged a score of 73.1 and took home one tournament tile.
Coach of the Year | Jenna Lisic, Mount Union
Mount Union second year head coach
Jenna Lisic has been chosen as the OAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year by her peers. Lisic lead the Purple Raiders to the OAC Championship title, the first since 2011. Mount Union finished with a team score of 871 (294-293-284) which was tied with Otterbein but won the championship after winning the second playoff hole. Lisic also helped the Purple Raiders to three tournament titles this season.
