Dr. Bob Fisher Player-of-the-Year
Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider | Baldwin Wallace
Baldwin Wallace senior outfielder Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider has been voted the OAC Dr. Bob Fisher Player-of-the-Year by the league coaches. During conference play, Ritlinger-Nirider batted .448 with 30 hits, 24 runs, six home runs, 23 RBI and four stolen bases. He has been named First Team All-OAC.
This is the eighth presentation of the Dr. Bob Fisher Award. Fisher retired in 2010 after 42 years at the helm of the Baldwin Wallace baseball program. Coach Fisher was the winningest coach in the history of the College with 700 career wins (700-641-14 overall).
Kent Tekulve Pitcher-of-the-Year
Drew Tolfree | Ohio Northern
Ohio Northern freshman Drew Tolfree was selected as the OAC Kent Tekulve Pitcher-of-the-Year by the league coaches. Tolfree finished the conference play with 35.2 innings pitched, a 1.01 ERA, 40 strikeouts and held opponents to a .115 batting average. He has been named First Team All-OAC.
The award is named after 1969 Marietta graduate Kent Tekulve, who spent 21 seasons playing professional baseball, including 17seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a key member of the Pirates' 1979 World Series championship team, setting a major league record with three saves in the series against Baltimore. He broke Hoyt Wilhelm's record of 1,018 career relief appearances. Tekulve finished his professional career with 1,050 games played, 184 saves and a 94-90 record.

Paul Hesse, Mount Union & Jake Krupar, Muskingum
Mount Union 29-year head coach Paul Heese and Muskingum fourth-year head coach Jake Krupar have been chosen as the OAC Coaches of the Year by their peers. Hesse led the Purple Raiders to their second-straight OAC Regular-Season title with a 14-2 conference record. Krupar led the Muskies to the OAC Tournament for the first time since 2010 as the No. 4 seed with a 9-7 conference record.
