The University of Mount Union Raiders captured the 2026 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Women’s Lacrosse Tournament title with an 11–10 victory over Baldwin Wallace Saturday.
Mount Union secured its second consecutive OAC Tournament championship and eighth overall title, earning the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Tournament.
How It Happened
The championship game featured a back-and-forth battle throughout, with both teams trading momentum across all four quarters. Mount Union jumped out to an early lead, but Baldwin Wallace responded with a strong second quarter, taking a 7–5 advantage into halftime.
The Raiders regrouped in the second half, outscoring the Yellow Jackets 6–3 over the final two quarters. After Baldwin Wallace tied the game at 10–10 with under two minutes remaining, Mount Union answered in dramatic fashion.
With just three seconds left in regulation, Emma Kielbasa converted a free-position opportunity to give the Raiders the 11–10 lead and ultimately secure the championship victory.
Mount Union’s defense came up with key stops down the stretch, while goalkeeper Abby Reagan totaled 13 saves to anchor the Raiders in net.
